Updating gridview programatically
Introduced alongside Kit Kat and enhanced with the Lollipop release of the v4 Android support library, a working implementation of the Swipe to Refresh UI pattern is included, called Swipe Refresh Layout. For your reference, the project we’ll build is available for download on Git Hub here.
Note: In Pager Adapter, Pager Fragment Adapter and Pager Fragment State Adapter, the Views or Fragments are recognised by a key Object not by their index or position in the adapter.
This example shows how to edit and update records in a Grid View in ASP. This example is helpful in situations where an administrator needs to edit several records from the database.
For demonstration I have created a database (named Database.mdf) in which we have a table named tbl_Employee.
var grid = new Grid ; //if right and bottom aren't specified, the column and row spans will be 1 grid. Add(new Label, 0, 0); //to start at column 1 and span 4 columns, right needs to be column column span; 1 4 = 5. Add(new Label, 1, 5, 0, 1); //column (left) = 0, right = column column span; 0 5 = 6.
Since this overload requires values for top and bottom, the row (top) is 0, and the row span is 1; 0 1 = 1, so bottom must be 1. row (top) = 1, bottom = row row span; 1 1 = 2 grid.
